It’s one of the most courageous decisions you’ll ever make.
Uplifting, strength-based outpatient therapy by Strength, Inc.
Time to nurture your soul.
Strength, Inc. offers office-based outpatient therapy in two convenient Boston-based locations.
Here’s what you can expect:
We start every relationship with a phone call assessment. This initial consultation allows us to get to know you, your obstacles and establish whether we’re a right fit for each other.
When you arrive for your first appointment, we’ll conduct a more detailed assessment: our Strength=Success™ model helps us establish priorities and an action plan.
From there, you’ll be in the driver’s seat. We will help you navigate each intersection and get you to your final destination feeling strong, grateful and ready to take on the world.
What is keeping you from greatness? Let’s talk.
Before seeking treatment with Requina, I was very confused about my relationship. There was tension and we lacked the tools needed to communicate effectively.
What I appreciate most about working with Requina is how she genuinely cares and takes an interest in what’s going on in my relationship. She isn’t just there to get a check, she really wants to understand each of us and help us work through our problems- no matter how small or large they appear to be. This really allows for a welcoming/comfortable environment where we can talk about everything openly. She also has an amazing ability to assist us in understanding the other person’s perspective without disregarding the other.
Since seeing Requina, I’ve gained a confidence in myself and learned how important my “Self Love/ Self Care” is in maintaining a relationship with someone else. I’ve also learned to be less reactive. Instead of taking things personally in my relationship I am learning to be more aware of our differences. These differences can often lead to miscommunication in a relationship, however, with attention to this matter the miscommunication can be avoided. My relationship has definitely grown since we’ve started working with Requina.Female
Before seeking treatment with Requina, I felt like all hope was lost for me to experience the true benefits of treatment.
In the past my experience has been therapists changing jobs, leaving the state, and even leaving the field or this country without ever considering what the client has to go through in starting over and building another relationship with another therapist. In all 3 cases the client has to start over with someone else there is not a solution or in between. I expressed this fear with Requina since the first day and remained skeptical for a long time.
Currently, I have been receiving active services for 3 years straight and am now very comfortable to say that if a change occurs there will be feasible options beyond starting services elsewhere and anew.
What I appreciate the most about working with Requina is she does not rush the process.
Therapy is a process and it is different for each person. I had previous experiences before so I was very doubtful but also very stern about how I felt. I appreciated that she did address my biggest fear instead of ignoring it or not even mentioning it. She has also kept her word about many things and accommodated me when necessary so that I would not have to miss a visit. She has accommodated me on a few occasions by way of a phone call and even check-in calls when possible which is always an added bonus and a very nice gesture.
Some of the benefits and results I have started to notice is that I have started to come out of my shell and talk freely, without fear. I have learned to better deal with issues and stress by way of taking some time before I respond, seeking advice from friends and family and if I have no one at the time to going over the issue with I can always send a message to Requina to ask for an unscheduled phone call to go over it and she is there.
Requina makes things possible, she makes it happen!Female

IN OTHER WORDS: WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK.
You’re in the driver’s seat for this journey. We’re your navigator.
Here’s how we approach this road trip.
About our methods
Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and so change the way they feel. Source: psychcentral.com
Narrative therapy was created as a nonpathologizing, empowering, and collaborative form of therapy that recognizes that people possess natural competencies, skills, and expertise that can help guide change in their lives. Source: goodtherapy.com
The Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) has evolved over the past twenty years into a comprehensive approach that includes guidelines for working with individuals, couples, and families. The IFS Model represents a new synthesis of two already-existing paradigms: systems thinking and the multiplicity of the mind. Source: selfleadership.org
